Installation and Usage
Installing your JoJo rainwater tank level monitor is a breeze. With our user-friendly guides and minimal tools required, you’ll be up and running in no time. You’ll need a crosshead screwdriver, 40mm hole saw, and cordless drill. To replace batteries, you’ll need a 3mm hex Allen key.
Installation Steps
- Choose the right spot: Refer to the placement recommendations for your specific tank type, ensuring you leave a gap of at least 150mm between your highest water level and the device.
- Drill the hole: Attach the 40mm hole saw bit to your drill and carefully drill a hole in the chosen location. Make sure to clean away any plastic shavings.
- Prepare the sensor: Remove the locking ring from the sensor to access the mounting bracket.
- Secure the bracket: Use 3 of the provided self-tapping screws to attach the mounting bracket. Use the built-in spirit level and test mode to ensure it’s level.
- Lock the sensor: Once level, place the locking ring back on and tighten it clockwise to secure the sensor in place.
- Attach the monitor: Secure the monitor device using the remaining screws, double-sided tape, or cable ties.
