The JoJo Scale and Corrosion Inhibitor can be used at a single point-of-entry (for example, under a sink) or it can be connected to the main water supply line to treat water used throughout the home.

Simple to install, this unit is ideal for water of low to medium hardness and can be used to protect a wide range of appliances and systems such as solar devices, air-conditioners, heat exchangers and more.

Important

The water treated by the Scale and Corrosion Inhibitor is not safe for consumption and should be filtered by one of our other Disruptor™ Filtration Products before drinking.

Note: this unit makes use of phosphorus silicon crystals that have to be placed inside the housing and are sold as a separate item.

Helpful Tips:

• Do NOT use hot water (this system can only filter water between 2-45 ˚ C)
• This system can operate between water pressures of 100-400kPa
• Installation must comply with local plumbing codes
• Do not install this system using copper solder fittings, as the heat from the soldering will damage the unit
• Use PTFE thread tape at all threaded joints
• It is advised to clean the housing at least once a month, or when replacing the crystals
• In order to obtain optimum filtration, it is recommended to replace the crystals before they are completely finished, it is advised to monitor the levels on a monthly basis.
